Coventry University – BSc. (Hons.) Nursing Studies

Course duration: Taught over 2 years across 6 semesters
This course provides an opportunity for students to ‘top-up’ existing nursing qualifications to a BSc (Hons) and enhance their academic and professional development, and employability. Students will have the opportunity to enhance their career by exploring such concepts a leadership, organisational theory, public health, research and evidence based practice. These concepts will be considered in respect of both the Sri Lankan and global perspectives.
The BSc (Hons) Nursing Studies degree equips students with the necessary knowledge and skills to pursue a nursing career in the United Kingdom (UK). Student will be introduced to the UK Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) standards and the NMC test processes.
The course is delivered by the Faculty of Nursing at the International Institute of Health Sciences (Pvt) Ltd Sri Lanka and supported by the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences at Coventry University.
